Location:
Royal Mail, Swindon.
Client:
Powell Dobson Architects, Cardiff.
Brief:
The brief was to design either a free standing sculpture at the
new entrance into the yard or a perimeter fence to span 43 metres.
“Parcel Tower” stands 6m high and was proposed in
brushed stainless steel. It is intended to represent strength
and unity in the way its odd balance remains stable.
“Floating Letter” is composed of 26 black powder coated
fence panels. Each panel shows a stainless steel letter being
blown along its journey.
